DISP 3206 Copolymer with Pigment Affinity Groups Wetting and Dispersing

DISP 3206 is a polymer dispersant specifically formulated for the dispersion of various organic pigments. This additive provides excellent wetting ability and serves as an effective anti-settling, antiflocculation, anti-flooding, and anti-floating agent.

Special Features
  • Suitable for medium- and low-polarity systems including petroleum resins, hydrocarbon resins, alkyd systems, chlorinated rubber, and others
  • Polymer hyperdispersant with excellent wetting ability
Application System and Dosage

DISP 3206 is compatible with alkyd systems, phenol formaldehyde systems, acrylate resins, and chlorinated rubber systems. For optimal performance, it is recommended to introduce the additive before the dispersion stage during manufacturing with the following dosage guidelines:

  • 1% to 5% dosage for inorganic pigments
  • 10% to 30% dosage for organic pigments
  • 20% to 60% dosage for carbon black
